7 Ways I Get Motivated on the Daily

7 Means I Get Motivated on the Daily
1. Coffee. For Real.
It'southward literally what I think about to help me roll out of bed each morning. It's warm, it's cozy and information technology gets me through my twenty-four hours.

So I kind of accept a routine right now. In the morning, yous'll typically find me sippin' on two cups of fresh brewed java with the Vanilla Extra Extra Creamer. - Cleaning
- Doctors appointments
- Baseball or musical theater for the boys

I call back I'll have the boys to that entertainment park on Thursday!

What WAS I thinking!? It's hot, I'grand tired and I'd much rather just stay habitation. Again.
And what I've learned in the past, when I've told them about the fun idea that I accept, I'm usually left dealing with their emotional breakdowns if something falls through and nosotros don't actually do it.
But, what I've also learned is, that if I Practise cease up telling them the fun idea that I accept, they concur me to it.
And then this way, it'south not easy for me to back out and make up one's mind to stay at home in my yoga pants when that sounds like the better thing to exercise at the time.
Honestly though, when I practice follow through with getting them up and out of the firm, I usually feel so much better likewise. Now, combine my #ane tip with my #2 tip, and you'll find me with my iced java at somewhere similar the park, at to the lowest degree once a week during the spring and summer.
Double Motivation
As a work at home mom, sometimes getting out to a place where the boys can roam and have complimentary-play, this is also an amazing fourth dimension to get work done. 4. Pull a fast one on Yourself
Take you lot always woken up one morning and only thought,
"Nope. Non today."
I totally get it. Some days I don't even feel like showering or changing out of my pajamas. Only man… the days where I Have to do something, I have a little play tricks upwards my sleeve for getting the motivation I demand.
I trick myself.
Crazy, right? If you saw my post "7 Ways to Fox Yourself into Getting Things Done" then yous may know my shower fob. On the days where I would rather poke my eyeballs out than accept a shower, I'll tell myself,
"Ok, I won't wash my hair. That will shave off a skillful 15 minutes of washing/fixing my pilus. I can manage that."
Then suddenly the dreaded shower seems endurable.
Just guess what? I usually end upwardly going "full blown" with the shower… washing my pilus, and doing the whole shebang once I get in there. Happens almost every fourth dimension. Most. Tricking myself past maxim "I'll just do a little today" is normally simply the motivation I demand, to really become the whole thing done and to get moving.
5. Jeans and Tennis Shoes
I'm not kidding, the unproblematic act of putting on a pair of jeans and lawn tennis shoes does WONDERS for motivation.
Jeans aren't usually something I want to go cozy on the couch in, and lawn tennis shoes aren't easy to slip off and boot my feet up in.
So if I find myself sitting longer than I "should" the jeans remind me that information technology's not bed time, and seeing the tennis shoes on my anxiety during the twenty-four hours, becomes a trigger that's telling me it may exist a good fourth dimension to go for a walk.
6. Have a Hobby
There was a time, equally a stay-at-domicile mom, where I was super bored.
- The house was as make clean equally it could be.
- Dinner was either already made or planned.
- I had a baby that couldn't talk back to me yet.
I found myself unmotivated and bored out of my heed. But once I started looking for a hobby, and started my hobby (which turned out to exist this blog and my business), I suddenly found myself incredibly motivated to brand something of it.
This meant mornings with excitement to roll out of bed because I was getting to do something I loved.
And so when I found out that it could be a business of my own, I was EXTREMELY motivated each day to build it and work on it. Finding something that you honey to do, can be a large motivation boost for sure.
vii. Schedule Plans with Friends
At this stage of life, finding time to hang out with friends can exist difficult. Tack on having to cancel because of a sick kiddo, bodyguard cancellation, etc., and information technology becomes even more difficult. Just sometimes, it may be tempting to cancel hanging out with a friend, considering staying at dwelling under the covers sounds and then much improve.
All the same, if I'1000 the one that schedules it, I'yard much less probable to cancel. I arranged information technology, and I can't permit them downward, correct? So I'll schedule a date with a friend if I'chiliad feeling the need for some girl time, and need a boost to get out of the firm. Having that friend depend on me, will motivate me to get out! Then, hanging out with a friend commonly motivates me in different areas of my life. (Considering… well, my friends are pretty darn astonishing.)
